I wish I knew about this sooner!! I am planning my vacation and this would have been very helpful! I think this is a great site to know about. I really see the Library being able to use this. We could set a WIKI bulletin board one for staff and one that the public can use to post events similar to the ones we have at branches now. I think more people would get to see the cool things that the library offers now. I can’t wait to use WIKI!!!

I can see how this would be helpful in Cml workplace. I know we use the favorites now in marking websites that are often used and the problem then is if you are on a different computer you cannot access the favorites you have saved. I really think that this is a cool site and will try to use it more at work and at home.

Iread To a temporary place in time.. article. I really believe that the library will play more active roll in the communities they are in. I think in time they will be a gathering place more and more. I feel we are going to learn more from technology and grow from it in ways we never thought. I cannot wait to see how the library of the future comes into effect. I will I believe be an awsome thing!

LOVE IT! I think it is great! Following people I feel like a stalker but they know! Anywho It was really easy to get started and follow along!! I think that I will continue to use twitter long after learn and play is over!

Finding post September 8, 2008
I was able to add a few feeds to my bloglines account and found two of the three sites helpful. The sites that were easiest are:Technorati & Topix.net. The RSS feed was easy to locate and the topics easy to search. I was able to add the feeds to bloglines without a problem. I added something on politics (how could I not!) I also am a fan of the weird news so I added a feed on weird news. All in all I really enjoyed finding and adding these feeds.

Well it was easier than I thought. I still have not been able to find the share option so I can share my bloglines with everyone but I have not given up! I enjoyed this session of learn and play. I feel more confident in my computer skills since joining up.

This week I thought that the assignment looked easy. Blog about tech stuff. I think that I am going to blog about blogging! I am still trying to get the hang of everything a blog does and can do. I feel like everytime I log on I learn something new. Such as designs (there are alot of things to play around with there), just linking things is a new adventure! I really am enjoying blogging and finding out how to do the different things I feel more confident each week!
