I posted a thought on the power tools page. I think that it is great we are highlighting the web and the cool things out there. If we are to be on track as the library of the future I think more tech things are needed and they should be helpful/user friendly.

Ok, so I was not that crazy about google docs. I see the point in them I think. I really don’t know if I will use them much but it is a good thing to know about!

I wish I knew about this sooner!! I am planning my vacation and this would have been very helpful! I think this is a great site to know about. I really see the Library being able to use this. We could set a WIKI bulletin board one for staff and one that the public can use to post events similar to the ones we have at branches now. I think more people would get to see the cool things that the library offers now. I can’t wait to use WIKI!!!

This week I thought that the assignment looked easy. Blog about tech stuff. I think that I am going to blog about blogging! I am still trying to get the hang of everything a blog does and can do. I feel like everytime I log on I learn something new. Such as designs (there are alot of things to play around with there), just linking things is a new adventure! I really am enjoying blogging and finding out how to do the different things I feel more confident each week!
